In the offseason, Nepali mountain guides are scaling peaks around the world because doing so makes good business sense
TENDI SHERPA STARTED CLIMBING mountains when he was 14. Thirty- three today, he has climbed Everest 11 times, from both the north and south routes. Tendi knows the mountains of Nepal, particularly Everest, very well. He now wants to understand in similar detail the peaks in the Alps and the Andes, which he has been tackling since 2011.
