Hello and greetings,
I would like to share this updates of our recent Mount Manaslu expedition. I was guiding one female client (Olya Lapina) on the Mount Manaslu which is an 8th highest summits in the world.
We started our trek towards the base camp of Manaslu on the 5th September with lot of excitements and energy. We trek up and down for a week till we got the Manaslu Base camp. We had our own cook crews and porters as well as donkey for our expedition through the trek and climb.
We shared our permit with few other members, so we all were trekking and climbing together. We had lot of rains and some snow fall during our expeditions but it did not hamper our project. As Olya was strong and were ready, we summit on the 1st october with perfect weather.
There was less climbers on the mountain compare to the past few years. It was great climbing with no lot of traffic of climbers.
There was one died and few other had frost bites on their finger and toes, and most of they were individual climbers.
After the summit, we had beautiful helicopter ride back to Kathmandu to enjoy warmer atmosphere and family.
Look forward to share next expeditions updates to everyone
